Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Job Placement Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing health challenges and help them achieve their career goals.

As a Job Placement Consultant, you will work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and internal teams to provide safe and sustainable employment opportunities. Your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to support their return to work goals;
  • Providing job skills development and confidence-building activities to enhance clients' employability;
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in employment services and job placement;
  • Empowering clients to effectively present their skills and abilities to potential employers;
  • BROKERING new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounds;
  • Building strong relationships with local employers and organizations;
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports to track client outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable;
  • Previous experience in Employment Services/Disability Employment as a high performer;
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of the local labour market;
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
  • A current driver's licence and motor vehicle.
