Role Overview

We are seeking a vibrant and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Infinite Care. This role plays a pivotal part in the wellbeing and engagement of our residents, requiring an individual who can 'bring to life' our resident-centric lifestyle programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Implement Lifestyle Programs: Design, develop, and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that cater to the social, religious, and cultural needs of our residents.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Coordinator: Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and maintain a range of lifestyle programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our residents.
  • Coordinate Activities: Plan and organize activities that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation among our residents.
  • Resident Care Assessments: Provide input during resident care assessments to ensure individualized, holistic programs that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Facility Communications: Assist with facility communications and play a primary role in organizing individual and facility celebrations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, facility team members, volunteers, and local community groups.
  • Risk Management: Manage and document risk for the facility, ensuring a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications or vocational training an advantage.
  • Experience in Aged Care: At least 1 year's experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of aged care principles and practices.
  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine empathy for our residents, a commitment to improving the quality of care, and a positive approach to work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Team Player: A confident team player with a collaborative and supportive approach to work.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance: A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or the ability to apply for one.
