Mechanical Engineering Technician Position

Our company seeks a skilled and detail-oriented mechanical engineering technician to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on maintenance expertise, advise, train, and undertake machining, fitting, assembling, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical components and systems using hand tools, machines, and technical drawings.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues affecting the operation of engineering production equipment.
  • Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, and controls.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant Diploma level qualification or minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Post-qualification experience on conventional manual lathes and milling machines is advantageous.
  • Experience with white metal is highly desirable.
