  • Senior Automation Engineer - Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable automated test suites to ensure the reliability and quality of our products.

This role involves developing modular and extensible test automation frameworks using Playwright to cover web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with developers and product stakeholders to define and prioritize test scenarios aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement test automation frameworks using Playwright to cover web and mobile platforms.
  2. Develop and maintain scalable automated test suites to ensure the reliability and quality of our products.
  3. Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to define and prioritize test scenarios aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  4. Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and feature discussions to identify critical paths, edge cases, and user flows for test coverage.
  5. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing parallelization and distributed testing to accelerate feedback and reduce time to market.
  6. Analyze test results to identify trends, optimize test coverage, and enhance automation strategies based on metrics like defect density and execution patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with modern test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and a solid understanding of software testing principles.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native testing strategies, including testing for APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
