About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced First Response Specialist to join our Operations team in Eagle Farm. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing safe and timely delivery of field activities related to gas escapes, disconnections, and reconnections of domestic and commercial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve efficient and effective field operations
  • Investigate and rectify supply-related issues
  • Classify and respond to gas leaks in accordance with our Group Leak Management Plan
  • Utilize equipment to pinpoint probable sources of gas leaks
  • Perform re-lighting activities for end-users
  • Maintain a high level of personal safety awareness and that of colleagues and the general public

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Gas Fitters Qualification with Licence
  • C Class driver's license
  • Demonstrated experience in gas distribution or field maintenance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on a rotating standby roster
