Senior Health Economist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to contribute to our portfolio of nationally significant projects focused on health economics.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct applied research in health economics, particularly focused on economic evaluation, cost modelling, and the economics of mental health
- Support economic analysis of healthcare utilisation, outcomes and costs using national datasets
- Develop and apply algorithms for cost-effectiveness analysis, burden of disease, and health system modelling
- Prepare high-quality manuscripts, reports, and funding proposals
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams, government, and health service partners
- A relevant qualification in health economics, public health (with strong economics focus), or data science
- Strong skills in health economic evaluation, statistical programming, and scientific computing
- Excellent problem-solving, planning and written communication skills
- Experience working with health-related data and modelling methods
- A collaborative, independent, and organised approach to research
