Nursing Opportunities

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking skilled Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Nurse Bank team on a casual basis. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical areas, including acute and sub-acute wards, perioperative services, midwifery, emergency, home-based services, dialysis and aged care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality patient care to assigned patients in a proactive and positive manner
  • To contribute to nursing wards and units by delivering evidence-based practice to improve patient care and service delivery
  • To work across a range of clinical areas and utilize post-graduate qualifications and substantial experience in areas of specialty where possible
  • To demonstrate current registration, completed nurse graduate program, recent nursing experience, and competence in clinical nursing with a patient-centred focus

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration
  • Completion of a nurse graduate program
  • Recent nursing experience
  • Competence in clinical nursing with a good understanding of and commitment to providing patient-centred care
