Maintenance Fitter Position

Job Responsibilities:
  • Executing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks
  • Supporting multiple production lines and continuous flow equipment operations
  • Fault identification, diagnostics, and mechanical fabrication processes
  • Working to safety and compliance standards protocols
  • Engaging with production early on to understand common faults and flows dynamics
Requirements:
  • Trade-qualified Fitter (or capable 3rd or 4th year apprentice) professional
  • Background in FMCG, food, packaging or industrial manufacturing sectors
  • Confident with preventative maintenance, fault finding, and fabrication techniques
  • Able to work independently with a strong safety mindset approach

As a skilled Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for executing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks, supporting multiple production lines and continuous flow equipment operations, identifying faults, performing diagnostics, and conducting mechanical fabrication processes. You will also ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with safety and compliance standards protocols and engage with production teams to understand common faults and flows dynamics.

Our ideal candidate will possess trade-qualified Fitter qualifications, have a background in FMCG, food, packaging or industrial manufacturing sectors, be confident with preventative maintenance, fault finding, and fabrication techniques, and be able to work independently with a strong safety mindset approach.
