Lead Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technician to lead our dynamic workshop team.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position requiring strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring your team achieves key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivers results.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders will be essential for smooth workflow management.
  • You must adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and complete necessary documentation.
  • Ocassionally you may be required to perform hands-on repairs and minor maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • A qualified heavy diesel or automotive mechanic certification (Cert III) is preferred.
  • Experience working with engine products as a technician is essential.
  • Management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are vital in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A mechanical trades qualification as a heavy diesel or automotive mechanic.
  • Experience with heavy/light diesel service and maintenance, preferably with Cummins engines.
  • Engine rebuild and reconditioning experience would be beneficial.
  • Diagnostics and IT skills are highly desirable.
