About the Role

As a Senior Sales and Operations Director at Black Diamond Group, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and operational efficiency in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Manage sales territories, assign sales goals, and establish training programs for sales representatives.
  • Oversee operating expenses to ensure budget control and optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to set competitive market pricing and develop sales strategies.
  • Track and communicate sales performance to management, including customer profiling and contract documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new markets and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and support sales quoting, cost analysis, and contract negotiations.
  • Credit approval, timely billing, and accounts payable processes for customers and key accounts.
  • Lead operations staff and leadership in project execution and fleet asset maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales within energy, construction, government, mining, or rental sectors.
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills in sales and operation environments.
  • Strong full-cycle sales development skills, market development, and operational budgeting management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Negotiation, organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (SalesForce).
