Pastoral Care Liaison

About the Role
At HammondCare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing emotional and spiritual support to our clients, their families, and staff.
Reporting to the Pastoral Care Manager, you will utilise and share your pastoral expertise to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of our clients. Your strong personal and active Christian faith, combined with your theological and pastoral care qualifications and experience, will enable you to provide a safe and supportive environment for those in need.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Provide pastoral care and support to clients, their families, and staff
- Utilise and share your pastoral expertise to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of clients
- Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement
- Theological /Pastoral Care qualifications and experience
- At least three years demonstrated Ministry experience officiating church services and memorials
- Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need
- Highly developed communication skills including listening, compassion and empathy
- Experience raising up, leading and supporting a team
- Strong administrative and computer skills
