Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our team to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales data, staff attendance, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business objectives, develop plans, and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in hospitality.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu management, inventory control, and cash handling.
