Meaningful Life Programs Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Meaningful Life programs in a Care Community setting.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing opportunities for meaningful engagement, purposeful participation, social events and activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of residents.

You will work closely with clinical teams and allied health professionals to provide a tailored approach for each resident, focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Liaising with residents and their families is crucial to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social, and physical needs. You will also be responsible for coaching care team members to deliver meaningful interactions between like-minded residents.

This leadership role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, and provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Meaningful Life programs in the Care Community
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and allied health professionals to provide person-centered care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and care team members
  • Coach and support care team members to deliver high-quality care and services
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and community engagement strategies
