Job Description

This role will be responsible for testifying and implementing PV technologies for projects. The successful candidate will provide solar photovoltaic design expertise and maintain relationships with HQ while implementing established standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing solar photovoltaic design expertise
  • Maintaining HQ relationship and implementing established standards
  • Designing and optimising customer PV projects modules, trackers, DC cabling concepts through the use of PV software (e.g. PVSyst)
  • Reviewing, commenting, and negotiating customer contractual technical requirements
  • Preparing procurement specifications
  • Providing engineering support for tendering and procurement
  • Producing technical documentation
  • Managing project budget for modules and trackers
  • Preparing and analysing risk and opportunities register
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Local experience is a must
  • Knowledge on wind technologies
  • Deep understanding and experience with solar technologies
  • Experience with large EPC infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency on simulation tools such as PVsyst, PVSol, and/or equivalent software
  • Proficiency on MS Office
