System Development Engineer Opportunity

Kuiper Ground Infrastructure Operations is looking for a skilled System Development Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing tools and processes to monitor, operate, and scale ground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate manual processes to drive operational excellence.
  • Design and build robust, scalable, maintainable, and adaptable systems to support evolving needs.
  • Develop and maintain critical infrastructure, tools, and operating procedures to monitor health of ground infrastructure.
  • Integrate with existing systems to enhance overall performance and availability.

About the Role:

  • Mentor and collaborate with business partners, leadership, and engineers to influence system design.
  • Work on automation or scripting tasks, operational excellence initiatives, design meetings, coordination with engineering teams and external partners, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines build processes.
