Water Civil Maintenance Operations Lead

Service Stream is seeking a highly skilled Water Civil Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team in the South East region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing a field delivery team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of O&M and minor projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams in accordance with Service Stream's values of Safety, Delivery, People, and Accountability;
  • Monitoring designated site activities to ensure project compliance and safety;
  • Performing daily checks on civil maintenance staff to verify training and licenses;
  • Reviewing and improving KPIs and data validation of works;
  • Conducting site audits and inspections;
  • Developing and reviewing Safe Work Methods (SWMS);
  • Administering field technicians, including timesheet approval and leave requests;
  • Maintaining spending within limits and adhering to budget requirements;
  • Fostering collaborative relationships with clients.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A current Driver's License;
  • Certificate III/IV in Civil Construction or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in water industry operations;
  • Experience dealing with stressful environments;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Ability to interpret drawings and scopes of work;
  • Strong MS Office skills;
  • High-level interpersonal skills;
  • Understanding of SWMS, risk assessment, and analysis;
  • Client focus.
