Toll Transport Pty Ltd, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Contract Expert to join their team in Perth. With over 130 years of experience, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional supply chain solutions to our customers.

The Role:

We are looking for an expert who can maximise the benefits derived from our contracts while minimising risk associated with client and supplier relationships. As a Logistics Contract Expert, you will work closely with operations teams to manage change effectively and ensure compliance with governance guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop contract scope and schedules, advising business units on structuring contracts to mitigate risks.
  • Mobilise new contracts, engaging internal stakeholders to support contract lifecycle management.
  • Provide contractual advice to operational and commercial leads to promote agreement and avoid disputes.
  • Assist operational leads in achieving best outcomes for business regarding loss claims.
  • Support tender responses, balancing legal, operational, and commercial requirements.
  • Develop and maintain contract management systems, procedures, and precedents.
  • Liaise with Legal and Insurance functions to ensure identified risks are understood and managed.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles.
  • Logical thinking, critical analysis, and system-thinking skills.
  • Ability to coach colleagues in commercial and contract management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Engineering, or similar (desired but not essential).
  • Operational experience in commercial and/or contract management (desired but not essential).

Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
