Quality Assurance Specialist

Babcock is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to work at our state-of-the-art facility in Woodville North, ensuring the highest standards of quality across all operational processes.
About the RoleIn this pivotal position, you will be responsible for managing the quality control of both goods and documentation throughout their lifecycle. From receiving and inspecting goods to ensuring compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements, your work will be essential in maintaining seamless operations.
You will also be tasked with generating and reviewing Material Data Reports (MDRs), raising non-conformance reports (NCRs), and supporting the Return to Vendor (RTV) process.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage the quality control process to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

- Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and support the Return to Vendor (RTV) process.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of quality documentation.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Australian Citizenship and a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Quality Systems knowledge and experience within a quality environment.
- General knowledge of relevant Australian and International Standards.
- Metrology experience - Use of measuring equipment and understanding of geometric tolerance.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office software (Word, Excel, etc).
- Experience using ERP Systems, preferably IFS.
