Job Opportunity:
- This is an exceptional chance to teach a specialist Music/Performing Arts program to students from Reception to Year 6 in diverse educational settings.
- The successful candidate will lead the development of a Wakkakiri troupe and the Festival of Music Choir, fostering creativity and musical expression among students.
- A strong understanding of current literacy practices and ability to integrate these into the role is essential for success in this position.
- The ideal candidate should have experience working with complex, multicultural communities and possess the skills to meet the needs of students with social, emotional and behavioural complexities.
- A commitment to Behaviour Education and a passion for teaching are required for this role.
- Successful experience as a class teacher in the Year 3-6 range is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a quality-differentiated Music/Performing Arts program to students from Reception to Year 6.
- Lead the development of a Wakkakiri troupe and the Festival of Music Choir.
- Develop and implement Instrumental Music programs that cater to various skill levels and interests.
- Work effectively with complex, multicultural communities and support students with social, emotional and behavioural complexities.
