Financial Analyst

Description

We are seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will assist in the sound financial management of our company through comprehensive, timely accurate accounting and financial administrative support services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily financial transactions and reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • E nsure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Provide insights and recommendations for financial planning and strategy
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare end-of-month financials for management
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Experience and competence at an advanced level in the use of MYOB and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Understanding of job costing processes
  • Demonstrated understanding of SCHADS/AGED/NURSES awards
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, including ability to compile, analyze data, and prepare reports
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail with consistent approach
  • Able to prioritize conflicting priorities as required
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with capacity to exercise initiative in application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
