About the Role:

The ACT Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Finance and Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-level organisation and administrative support to the Executive Group Manager, Finance and Infrastructure Group (EGM FIG).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the office of the EGM FIG
  • Liaise with Senior Executive Office teams and Executive Branch Managers across the Group
  • Collaborate with the Education Support Office to deliver finance and infrastructure public education services
  • Manage sensitive and confidential issues
  • Liaise with senior executives, other ACT Government officials, private sector and industry stakeholders

About You:

We are looking for someone with excellent public administration, communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure with changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in senior support roles to Senior Executives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with senior executives, other ACT Government officials, private sector and industry stakeholders
