About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team. As a key member of our pastry department, you will be responsible for preparing a diverse range of pastries and desserts, ensuring each item meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of desserts and pastries for the hotel's outlets
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to develop and update dessert menus
- Ensure all pastries and desserts meet quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation
- Work closely with other departments and kitchens to coordinate service and ensure timely delivery of desserts
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of pastry ingredients
- Train and oversee junior pastry staff and interns, providing guidance on techniques and workflow
