Job Title: Maintenance Officer
">At our residential aged care home, we are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely and safe manner.
">The ideal candidate will have general maintenance experience, including painting, plastering, equipment repair and minor plumbing and electrical issues. They will also need to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with residents, families and team members.
">Some key responsibilities of the role include:
">- Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently;">
- Assisting with projects and equipment replacement;">
- Preparing budgets and managing maintenance resources;">
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with residents, families and team members;">
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

- Current valid drivers' license.">
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members.">
- Proficient documentation and computer skills.">
- Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc).">
- Complete a police check and/or NDIS workers check.">
- Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season).">
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination.
