Job Description

The role of Verification and Validation Technician involves supporting the team in verifying system requirements. You will be responsible for performing exploratory and investigative testing on new prototypes to provide feedback to the Systems Engineers.

You will work with the team to build and test prototypes, identify design sensitivity, critical parameters and limits. You will also assist in creating and documenting novel test methodologies including software development/support.

Additional responsibilities include providing feedback and recommendations for product/design changes, participating in root cause analysis and failure analysis activities, and providing cross-functional team support.

As a Verification and Validation Technician, you will develop verification and validation test protocols and reports, perform system and integration verification tests to verify the product meets system requirements, and work with Design and Systems teams to resolve issues found during testing.

Key skills and qualifications include an electronics, biomedical or mechatronics engineering degree or undergraduate, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, initiative, self-driven, flexible team player, effective interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to work independently, under pressure and time constraints, and experience testing medical devices would be well regarded.
