Underground Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Electrical Supervisor to join our team at CSA Mine. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for supervising all underground electrical activities, ensuring compliance with legislative and site-specific requirements, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
About the Role:
- Lead and supervise underground electrical crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily tasks
- Plan and coordinate electrical maintenance and installation activities for fixed and mobile plant infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and site policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct inspections, audits, and reports in accordance with statutory requirements
- Mentor and support the development of electrical tradespeople and apprentices
About You:
- Current Electrical Supervisor's Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience in underground mining electrical systems - underground mining experience is a non-negotiable requirement
- Strong leadership skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset
- Sound knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and Mining Regulations
- High level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Location:
The mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. The town boasts beautiful parks, two reservoirs, picnic areas and playgrounds. You will have access to a bowling and golf club, rugby and rugby league teams, race club, pony club, Olympic size swimming pool, gym – and more.
