About Country Club Tasmania:

Located in a picturesque parkland setting, our resort is Launceston's premier choice for holiday accommodation, dining, and entertainment. Our property features 5 restaurants, 4 bars, 88 hotel rooms, 16 suites, 74 villa units, conference and banquet facilities, casino gaming operations, an 18-hole golf course, and sporting and recreational facilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain the aesthetic appeal of our rooms.
  • Vacuum carpets and mop floors to keep our spaces clean and tidy.
  • Restock supplies to ensure that our rooms are fully equipped and ready for occupancy.
  • Inspect and report any issues regarding room maintenance or cleanliness to ensure prompt attention and resolution.

Requirements

  • A can-do attitude and excellent time management skills to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Passion for customer service to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
  • High attention to detail to ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Availability to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience would be highly regarded.
  • A driver's license to facilitate transportation to and from work.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
