About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio-Visual Design Engineer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing audio-visual systems for various projects, including commercial office, residential, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement audio-visual system designs to meet client specifications
  • Liaise with clients to present design solutions, specifications, and layouts
  • Support project tendering teams and provide assistance during construction phases
  • Self-review work to ensure high-quality internal services
  • Provide value to in-house design meetings and adhere to professional standards and ethics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AV installation work or project management of AV installations
  • AVIXA CTS certification and CTS-D certification when applicable
  • Design certification for at least one control solution (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron)
  • Design certification for at least one digital transport system (e.g., QSYS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with Bluetooth, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
