Job Description

Exact Mining Group is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our mobile plant equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, and haul trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Conduct scheduled and impromptu maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of equipment and efficient completion of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (essential)
  • Auto-electrical experience (highly regarded)
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • At least two years of relevant experience maintaining road transport and earth moving equipment
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements
  • Dedication to learning, high-quality work, and achieving goals
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team
