Job Overview

We seek a seasoned procurement professional to join our Global Sourcing Team in Sydney.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Resolve complex vendor issues regarding price, delivery, and terms to maintain strong relationships.
  • Review purchasing transactions to recommend sourcing activity and contract compliance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyze, and resolve source-to-pay related issues.
  • Increase Spend Under Management by working with Sourcing teams on managing category strategy, tail spend, and compliance using category playbooks and rule engines.
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics using Qlik.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Audit procurement activities to assess and mitigate risks associated with supplier engagement and compliance issues.
Key Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years' experience in global sourcing, procurement processes, and supplier engagement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Commercial acumen, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Experience in data analysis and financial cost model development.
  • Energetic and self-motivated individuals enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating, and negotiating.
  • Proactive self-starter who is highly organized with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
