Clinical Support Specialist

We're seeking a Casual Patient Services Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support and maintain professionalism, care, and friendliness in an ever-changing environment.
- Be the first point of contact for patients and deliver excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
- Adapt to and manage ongoing change and competing priorities in a fast-paced role.
- Book and confirm patient appointments and consultations.
- Process billing and receipts at the time of appointment.
- Accurately process relevant paperwork, including data entry.
- Ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
- Continuously liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes.
- Manage patient records and filing of patient notes.
Requirements include:
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms is highly valued.
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A flexible approach to work and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
