Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to fill a temporary full-time position with the possibility of transitioning to part-time work in the future.

Summary:

This role requires extensive knowledge of ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS Online, as well as at least one to two years of experience in spatial data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze spatial data from various sources, including aerials, DXF files, and shape files, to ensure timely delivery of fauna, flora, and habitat maps.

Create detailed maps in ArcMap 10.7 showcasing surveyed flora and fauna using aerial photographs and GPS data.

Collect and import client data, including development footprints (DXF) and aerial photographs.

Perform spatial analysis on map data, including area calculations, intersection, overlays, buffers, etc.

Prepare spatial data for clients and the Department of Environment.

Data management and filing systems.

To be Eligible:

Strong knowledge of ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS.

Experience with ArcPro is desirable but not mandatory.

Ability to provide innovative solutions to spatial challenges.

Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when it comes to map content and layout.

Team-oriented approach.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
