About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Network Engineer to join our team in constructing, installing and maintaining our electricity distribution networks.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of overhead and underground line networks, as well as experience with external best practice methods in a comparable environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Study and interpret technical drawings and network diagrams
  • Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks according to company policies, quality systems and HSE procedures, as well as statutory requirements
  • Respond to emergencies on high/low voltage distribution assets

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution networks
  • Experience working on overhead and underground line networks
  • Exposure to external best practice methods
  • The ability to travel within the state, including overnight stays as required
