Sweeper Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our City Maintenance team as a Sweeper Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating one of our Sweeper vehicles to maintain a clean and safe environment in the City of Mandurah.

• Undertake sweeping operations throughout the City as outlined in the Maintenance Plan and as directed.
• Be accountable for the quality and standard of your work, including productivity and safety.
• Ensure the proper operation and security of materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, and plant being used.
• Accurate record keeping of daily job records and reporting.

• Current unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) class driver's license.
• Previous truck driving experience.
• Previous experience in the operation of a suction road sweeper (desirable).
• Excellent observation and concentration skills.
• Safe operation and user maintenance of plant, equipment, and vehicles in a general construction environment.
• Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
• Good customer service and decision-making skills.
