About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Theatres unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to a diverse range of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the ward, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes, working together towards a common goal of exceptional patient care.
- Safety First: Prioritize patient and staff safety while upholding the highest care standards, maintaining a safe environment for all patients and staff.
- Team Leadership: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Patient Education: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being, promoting informed decision-making and patient autonomy.
- Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in theatre nursing, demonstrating expertise and confidence in your practice.
