About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Theatres unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to a diverse range of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient-Centered Care: Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the ward, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes, working together towards a common goal of exceptional patient care.
  • Safety First: Prioritize patient and staff safety while upholding the highest care standards, maintaining a safe environment for all patients and staff.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Patient Education: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being, promoting informed decision-making and patient autonomy.
Essential Criteria:
  • Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in theatre nursing, demonstrating expertise and confidence in your practice.
  • Commitment to Quality: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering quality patient care in line with industry standards, striving for excellence in every aspect of your work.
  • Clinical Competence: Exhibit sound clinical decision-making skills and adept problem-solving abilities, thinking critically and making informed decisions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Effective Communication: Showcase excellent communication and customer service skills, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Team Player: Thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member, working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals and objectives.

What We Offer:
