About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of the Clinical Ageing Research Unit (CARU), you will be responsible for supporting the setup, delivery, and close-down of clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and Research Governance Framework.

Key responsibilities include providing guidance and support to Principal Investigators, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing submissions to IRAS/HRA and R&D.

You will work closely with research teams to ensure trials are conducted efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
