About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team as a GSE Mechanic at Sydney Airport. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain ground support equipment, reporting to the Shift Supervisor and managing under the State Service Manager.
  • Follow service guidelines and data, as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
  • Utilise technical skills and experience as a tradesman to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills, and experience to the role.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Must have own tools
  • Must hold a current driver's license
  • Experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding preferred
  • Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
