About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Static Application Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Security Tools organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing the state-of-the-art for developers through SAST and SCA tools.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and categorizing software security analysis vulnerability findings, reporting and documenting vulnerability findings, identifying duplications and false positive vulnerability reports, and partnering with software development to identify and address security concerns.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and categorize software security analysis vulnerability findings
  • Report and document vulnerability findings
  • Identify duplications and false positive vulnerability reports
  • Partner with software development to identify and address security concerns
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, integration, and testing of analysis support in the tool for various languages
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Good understanding of application security, CVE classification system, and OWASP top 10
  • Experience in program analysis, compilers, or web application security
  • Familiarity with SAST and SCA tooling
  • Foundational skills in Python programming
  • Strong analytical skills combined with good communication skills and fluent English
