We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide effective service delivery and patient-focused support, responding to general customer enquiries and providing timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff.
The role involves working in a team environment and autonomously when required, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be proficient in the application of internal hospital information systems and Microsoft Word.
The successful candidate will also have knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of basic medical terminology to extract and interpret pertinent information from patient medical records and hospital information systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff and other stakeholders is essential for this role.
- Teamwork: The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in internal hospital information systems and Microsoft Word is required.
- Medical Terminology: Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of basic medical terminology is necessary to perform the duties of this role.
- 17.5% Annual Leave Loading: The successful candidate will receive 17.5% annual leave loading, in addition to their base salary.
