Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at UGL. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Works Planning Manager.
- Design Implementation: Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects.
- Design Improvement: Contribute to improvements to existing designs.
- Financial Control: Assist in the review of project budgets and ongoing expenses to ensure Financial Control remains within the acceptable limits of the budget at all stages of the project.
- Client Requirements: Understand the Client's requirements in relation to all Project Plans, Document Control procedures, and QA/Environmental requirements in order to meet or exceed their expectations at all times.
- Contractual and Legislative Knowledge: Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
- Safety, Environment, and Quality: Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
- Document and Record Management: Analyse and use document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting, and compliance reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, building construction, or equivalent.
- Qualifications: Diploma of Project Management in engineering, science, building, construction, or equivalent.
- Professional Status: Chartered Engineering Status.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.
- Project Experience: Experience on > $10 M Projects.
- Project Management Knowledge: Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards, and implications for project accountabilities.
