Warehouse Operations Lead

About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to lead our warehouse operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily logistics of our warehouse, ensuring seamless operations and meeting customer expectations.

Your primary objective will be to develop and grow customer relationships, manage employee welfare, and lead a committed team to greatness. You will be responsible for managing and controlling operations, ensuring a safe working environment, and maintaining location and inventory accuracy. Additionally, you will focus on increasing productivity streams and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to take on a leadership role and drive business results in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage warehouse operations to ensure smooth daily logistics
  • Develop and grow customer relations for the site
  • Manage current employee welfare and satisfaction
  • Lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics using the latest technology
  • Manage and control operations for the customer, ensuring a safe working environment coupled with cost-effective operational activities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years' experience within Supply Chain/Logistics
  2. Superior knowledge of warehouse operations within a 3PL environment
  3. 3+ years' managing teams with strong leadership experience
  4. Exceptional end-to-end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management, and improvement opportunities
  5. Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
  6. Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus
  7. Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  8. Strong experience with WMS - ideally SAP or Manhattan systems
