About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Greenkeeper Apprentice. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our parks and gardens, including mowing operations, turf/garden maintenance, and landscaping.

As a Greenkeeper Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced team members, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the health and appearance of parks and gardens through regular mowing, pruning, and weeding.
  • Undertake grounds maintenance activities, including vegetation management, landscaping, and horticulture.
  • Operate horticulture equipment, such as ride-on mowers, brush-cutters, and edgers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated commitment to completing a Certificate III in Turf Management.
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
  • Access to reliable transportation for attending work and external training providers.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
