Key Housing Administration Role

We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity as a Housing Administration Officer in our Community Housing Development team. The Housing Service team manages 85 properties, mainly leased from government departments.

This role plays a key part in helping our Community Housing Development team move towards an efficient, effective, person-centred service by managing housing-related administration tasks associated with Community Housing.

Job Description:

As a Housing Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing a central first point of contact for team members, tenants, and service providers to report property maintenance. You will regularly monitor the Housing Maintenance email to ensure timely logging of maintenance requests and prompt responses to queries. You will also log property maintenance requests, considering preferred contractors, priority of maintenance, and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the team to enhance engagement with tenants.
  • Forging relationships with maintenance contractors and tenants to assist in delivering an efficient and reactive maintenance service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a similar role or field.
  • Experience working with people living with mental illness in a community setting.
  • Knowledge or experience of Community Housing.
  • Mental Health First Aid training is required.
  • A current National Police Clearance and driver's licence are essential.
