Non-Destructive Testing Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing machine components for surface and subsurface cracks using various testing techniques.

About the Role: You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and provide high-quality results. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to accurately identify any defects or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Eddy Current Testing on machine components
  • Conduct Magnetic Particle testing on machine components
  • Use Ultrasonic testing to analyze machine components
  • Carry out Dye Penetrant testing on machine components
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers requiring NDT work
  • Travel to site once per quarter to conduct chassis inspections

Requirements:

  • Eddy Current Testing certification
  • Magnetic Particle testing certification
  • Ultrasonic testing certification
  • Dye Penetrant testing certification
  • Valid Dogging, Forklift, Working at Heights and Valid Elevated Platform (EWP) tickets advantageous but not essential
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Housekeeping and clean working habits
  • Deliver high quality customer service
  • Strong commitment to safety
