Job Description:

At City Facilities Management, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Platforms Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and infrastructure.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in business data modelling, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines. You will be responsible for leading our re-platforming efforts, developing and maintaining our Enterprise Data Platform, and delivering actionable insights through business intelligence. Additionally, you will introduce and manage a data governance framework to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the re-platforming, development, and maintenance of our Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Manage the business intelligence function, delivering actionable insights.
  • Introduce and manage a data governance framework to ensure quality and compliance.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business and at least 5 years of experience in BI implementation and operational reporting strategy. You should have strong expertise in business data modelling and managing data warehouses, as well as proficiency in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL pipelines. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and related technologies is preferable. Skilled in data visualization tools, particularly SSRS & Power BI, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Full Australian working rights and a recent police check are also required.
