**The Role Overview**

An exciting opportunity exists for an individual seeking a role with variety to join our team as a Food Service Assistant and Cleaner on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and beverages.
  • Ensuring correct food and beverages are served to each resident, in a timely manner and according to dietary/specialised nutritional requirements and/or known food allergens and tolerances.
  • Providing assistance to residents when requested and referring any complaints or concerns to relevant staff.
  • Ensuring clearing of dining rooms, removal of food trays from residents' rooms, and washing of dishes and cleaning are in accordance with our Food Safety Program policy and procedure.
  • Effectively managing own time to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within required timeframe.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
  • Ensuring high standard of customer service including presenting in a professional manner at all times when interacting with residents during meal services.
  • Communicating effectively with residents, resident representatives and staff.
