About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead our transport operations in the resources sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing transport operations and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and support the day-to-day transport operations for our Logistics Divisions.
  • Lead a dedicated national team of transport workers and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise asset utilisation and value add to Ensign.
  • Represent the Company in government and private transport-related forums.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing transport operations in the resources sector or similar heavy industry.
  • Strong safety leadership qualities and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products.
