Commercial Objectives
The Precinct Manager role focuses on delivering commercial objectives through the design and implementation of a precinct strategy that drives revenue growth and brand expansion within defined regions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with company objectives, focusing on revenue growth and brand expansion within defined regions.
  2. Cultivate and expand relationships with key customers and government groups, identifying opportunities for partnership growth and expansion.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic targets, generate new business opportunities, and drive short and mid-term projects.
  4. Stay informed about state and federal government landscapes relevant to healthcare, life sciences, and clinical trials, using this knowledge to build strategic advantages for Thermo Fisher Scientific within precincts.
  5. Partner with the Thermo Fisher Government Affairs team to ensure the company's appropriate positioning and advocacy within precincts.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Business (MBA preferred).
  • Significant experience in the life sciences or healthcare sectors, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong industry knowledge, including familiarity with key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Global experience within a matrixed organization with a decentralized model.
