About the Role:

You will be part of the Capital Transactions team, responsible for managing sales and acquisition programs on behalf of the client. Your key responsibilities will include project managing the delivery of individual acquisitions and sales in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Senior Property Acquisition Manager, you will lead and manage sales to other government agencies, community housing providers, and unsolicited proposals in accordance with relevant legislation, framework, and policies. You will also provide professional property and valuation advice to support business decision-making and manage non-core commercial leasing portfolios of properties.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing expert property advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of acquisitions and sales programs aligned to business needs and requirements.
  • Managing non-core commercial property leasing portfolios and leading property and valuation-related activities for the Housing Portfolio.
  • Providing valuation and property information for strategic business decisions on asset management of the portfolio to maximize asset realization and consideration of market factors.

About the Ideal Candidate:

You will have worked in a similar role and ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a property-related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Experience managing complex property negotiations with multiple risks and stakeholders with assistance from Property Officers.
  • Working experience making recommendations on acquisitions, disposals, strategies, and project plans.
