About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Shepparton. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
  • Assessing clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
  • Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle

You will also need to possess a degree-qualified Occupational Therapist and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
