Job Title: Roofer

This is a challenging position at a leading organization, responsible for construction and maintenance of building roofs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Team Lead and receives assignments, instructions, and direction related to roofing projects.
  • Plans work activities by reading and interpreting instructions and documentation.
  • Selects materials such as tiles, wood shingles, and others necessary for roofing projects.
  • Ensures roofing projects are delivered on time.
  • Built roofs using various materials and tools.
  • Repairs or replaces broken materials.
  • Removes debris from roofs to place materials.
  • Smoothens roof surfaces and fills in edges with cement.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.
  • Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up/housekeeping activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, and professional atmosphere in all working facilities and areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of hand tools, roofing, construction and maintenance techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walking while working at height.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Valid driver's license.
